Recruiting alternatives for New York City veterinary employers
Use this New York City guide to evaluate the service you actually need: a permanent search, temporary coverage, job advertising or another form of practice support. The providers below appeared in saved search research. Their own published descriptions inform the guide; BEGHR's editorial assessments explain fit, tradeoffs and questions to resolve before signing.

Apply the decision to the actual New York City vacancy
Name the borough, neighborhood and street address, and keep Westchester and Long Island municipalities separate from New York City. Several names, such as Hempstead and Huntington, refer to both a town and a smaller village or hamlet, so record the actual municipality. Coverage on this site is limited to New York State; a hospital in New Jersey or Connecticut falls under a different state licensing authority.
Give the hiring team one brief for each facility, with clinical work, support staffing, weekend duties and location commitments stated together. For regional positions, list the hospitals, planned visits and how schedule changes are communicated. This site describes employer hiring coverage without claiming a New York recruiting office.
Give every provider the same hospital address, clinical scope, work schedule, compensation structure and decision dates. Compare the plan for that brief. A result appearing for a city search does not prove a provider has a local office or available candidates there.
Send the same approved brief to the providers you want to evaluate. Ask them to confirm the scope and unresolved terms in writing, then compare their proposals with your hiring team.
